Has my cat gone bad?
Today I installed my new Thermal Classic Catback (2.25) and right after installation I started up the car and it started to smell pretty bad.. Like something was burning. This smell never happened when i was running my stock exhaust though. Just wondering wtf is going on...
Also there is a **** load of white smoke *yes WHITE* coming out of my tailpipe.. I know it just means moisture but is this something to be worried about.. or could this also be the aftermath of a bad cat? -TIA

When you install a catback, you have to remember that the pipe has all kinds of dirt, grease, etc. on it. And when you get it hot for the first time, it is all going to burn off. The same is likely true for grease inside the pipe. I would not worry about the smoke unless it continues.

Go for a highway drive for about 50 miles or so and drive it semi hard......heat the pipes up plenty good and then see where you are at.
