Had an Accident!! YIKES! Can I fix it? GURUS HELP!!
I found myself in a hail storm yesterday, and I hit some water pretty hard. The Kumho Ecsta Supra 712 apparently doesn't like the rain too well. Anyway, I'm working on figuring out an estimate... the wheel is set back about 2-4 inches and it rubs on the fender, I think this is due to the radius arm/tie rod being broken though. The shock tower, motor mounts, c-member, and engine/radiator were all unharmed. I've got the JDM front already on order, so is it possible to repair this, and weld a tube from the shock tower to the radiator support/headlight frame, thus allowing the JDM fender to bolt onto it? Opions please... thanks.
This is my front now.
Lovely isn't it?
That's a bent A Arm... or whatever the **** it's called.
Snapped tie rod anyone?

Not an option.
The rest of the car is perfect, and the engine is running a good as ever....
I'm not swapping anything. lol.

Do you have a frame rack avaialable? Is not really worth fixing. It looks like everything is bent pretty bad. The upper A arm is twisted. The whole front alignment is off and would be hard to straighten back to spec. Id find another hatch and swap the stuff from yours. It would be cheaper.

I've got good suspension bits laying around. So replacing the bent/broken is no problem. I'm just wondering if it's possible to plasma cut that shitty part out, and weld a foot-long tube in there. The JDM front would cover it up. I don't think that you guys can see this, but it only smashed the top front... the bottom rails, and members are all straight... it's just that top metal that is crumpled.

my crx was declared totalled and it didnt look that bad lol, mine was pushed back on the driver side and was tilted down. Sucked had 4 17s that came with the car but had to drive around on donuts on the front. 17s didnt clear the fender and rubed in the back if i remember. Costed me $200 to fix it to oem good as new lol. I am sure this one would easily cost $1000.00 from the cheap place I went to lol good luck!

frame is way gone....not pull-able. even if it is....it will not be perfect even if a pro-shop tries... unless you do a RHD conversion!

ahh Bull ****, ok here's how your gonna make it new again....
get yourself a aceteline tourch and a mig welder, along w/ the pass side frame rail (pretty much whole front 1/4) from a junkyard and cut that old **** out and weld the new one in... madd easy fix should cost u 200$ at junkyard.... do the work yourself and wala!

That is an option, basically replace that entire front corner of the car...
I met a guy who was gonna do that. He went to the junkyard, cut a good front corner of a hatch off, then cut his old front corner off, and was going to weld the new used one in place. He ended up not going through with it and junking the car. Dont know if that gives u hope or sadness.
