Default Got a new ride and a pretty rare one should be a good project

Yeah i just picked up a rare honda. Its a 1990 Civic Wagon RTawd. and the cool thing is the rarest of the rare. Its completely stock from the engine bay out. i want to lower it and put some wheels on it first. and then get into the engine part. Heres a few pics let me know what you guys think. the only mod i have done right now is a 12 kelvin HID kit thats about it. i know there not tight but i have 2006 fit steelies and hub caps with fake carbon fiber look. I have been palnning mostly gettin all my ducks in a row and take em down one by one.

MY PLAN:

Lower with full coilovers
Get some crazy deep dish 15 or 16 inch wheels with some stretched rubber
Build a lightly modded d16z6 and turbo it
build custom exhaust
etc...

Update last night installed DVD/CD player not finished with the install as far as the dvd portion working when the ebrake is applied i know where to run one wire but not the other i guess to make it play when the ebrake is applied and havent researched on how to bypass the ebrake junk so it will play all the time. since the speakers in it are ok for now im gonna put some money away for after xmas to get full dampening adjustment coilovers.

heres a few pics of the wagon entertainment installed. turned out that i thought it was a cheap player but when i got it was a baller $1000.00 one from SONY and to think i got it for free pretty much.

I love how you rave about it being stock and then immediately start putting aftermarket stuff on it.

Leave it the **** alone if it's so rare and special.

when i stated that is was stock. i was focusing on the fact that no ricer had molested it. get that dick head. plus the title is should make a good project meaning i was gonna do **** to it at let everyone see my progress. but im glad you read it and understood it throughly.

I'm the clown? Lol.

I know what a project thread is buddy. I was just amused by your attitude toward this car.

You seemed super excited in the beginning that it was stock and so rare, and then the next sentence you started listing all the things you were gonna do to ruin that. just doesn't make sense to me.

I'm with you on this one...Once it has been modded out the ***, it is not going to be as rare and special.

I'm not doubting your ability to make a car very nice (dvd's, rims, etc...) b/c from how it looks so far you are going to do a great job at doing that! I would just rather see it done on a less special of a car is all...

Nonetheless...I love the wagons and miss mine so keep us updated with pics!

well all your points make sense. Special yes it is. but to modd out a different honda would just be blending back in with the same crowd that i have been around for years. this is different and moddifying the car tastefully will make it that much more rare. in my opinion slapping on some suspension, wheels and tires, and building a simple turbo motor with some reliable power is not gonna take away from the car just add to it and make it a great car. that is all
