Definitely sounds like a leak somewhere. Check inside the engine bay first, then check out the lines that run from the tank to the engine bay. I would think the gas lines would be under the car and not inside, but I'm not sure. Definitely something you want to fix though.

if you're smelling it strong inside the car i would check the filler neck, the float, which is under the silver cap, and hoses under the back seat. after that look at the gas tank on the driver's side. there is a plastic cover you'll have to remove and all the hoses go in to the tank there.

that's probably the filler neck leaking. take the seat out and see if you can see any where it's leaking. also look where you put fuel in on the outside. might have a hole there?

i would 1st check for fuel pressure, if there is a leak then u will aboviously get low pressure. i would definatly check the floater circut, its inside the car. i have b16a2 and my car smells like gas all the time and its normall cuz my ECU is chipped. my car runs rich all the time and tat is my fuel & emission standard. are u sure ur ECU is not chipped!!!
on the fuel filter the 10mm or 12mm service screw remove and hook gauge
floater is under back seat
