thats awesome.. thread is saved.. i got my car pretty low running 7" width wheels. and now upgrading to some v700 slicks 225/50/15 from my azenis 205/50/15 for autocross and have been wondering about fender flares for about a month. been debating on those universal flares from ebay. but this will be perfect. kudos to you.

i got a couple quick questions. are you using the front fender flares from the 90 jetta on the rear of the crx also? i dont know much about the cosmetics of jetta's and never seen rear fender flares for the jetta.
also, is it possible to cut your fender for clearance of the tire when you install these flares and keep the hieght the same if not lower?
i rolled my fenders out just enough right now to stick my azenis with no rubbing, but now im going 225, they are going to rub the rubber right off. only fix is to cut the fender and install flares without raising the suspension.

i dont know if anyone has mentioned this in the thread, but i was discussing with my vw buddy what you did, and he said you should have used the corrado flares. they are about 3/4 of an inch wider. just a thought.

post a link of your first attempt..
i dont really like them i think you should get the bumpers and flares the same color so they match and probably bondo them to the fenders so they look like they were made there and better(wider rims 225 perhaps)
and as far as that wagon its just too insane i wish i was older and could get one RT4WD and drop a fully built H or a K and boost like 10 pounds and keep it the ugliest/stockest possible because the truth is 'nobody suspects the wagon' haha i think its gona be my walpaper lmao got any photoshoot pics? whats your powerplant?
good job with the rims too

Damn man thats a hot wagovan. Those wheels are sick if you made a narrower set id be all over them. I like the flares but I think they should be trimmed a little bit and the plastic trim on the rex needs to be restored to match the flares.

Very nice job man, Its always sweet to see people doing things here and there on their rex's. But its especially cool when its not your every day mod. And Im pretty sure he knows the flares are for wider tires+wheels...

This is what I'm going to do to my EF hatchy also.
But my purpose is for autocross and road racing. I will be getting some 15x8 0 offset wheels. Stiffen up the suspension and it will be set.
BTW, it looks good. I'm not 100 on the rears, but the front is great!
