Default ef9 rear lip Q?

will the ef9 oem rear lip fit on a usdm bumper? i have a 89 hatch, i plan on buying one just want to know if it will fit, i found one brand new pretty cheap but in the description it says unfortunately it will only fit JDM Rear Bumpers. i know the some differences but i mean it should still fit right? im thinking the jdm bumper is a little longer?

i actually have heard of ppl using the ef9 sir rear lip on the usdm bumper. you would attach it from the other ends and cut off the excess at the exhaust opening. only thing is you wont have the end tabs of the lip when you cut it at the exhaust opening if that makes any sense.

That's what I did a few years back. I will work with some cutting near the exhaust. It looks pretty good.
