Re: ef question???
Short answer, yes, anything can be done.
Better question, what year and model "ef" do you have, and what crx front do you want to swap on?
If it's the 4 door in your sig, I wouldn't do it. Best look for that car is the JDM 4 door front. imo

Re: ef question???
considering the crx is considered an EF then yes ....if you dont understand the question then maybe you shouldn't reply.....post counts don't mean anything
on another note...there are alot of forum mechanics on this site that need to just keep there fingers to themselves...its funny how a simple question can be asked yet none of you know the answer......kinda like my question about how to get the codes off the ECU on an 89 civic.
im so glad im a VW guy and only come here for answers about my civic...wait a minute, none of you seem to know thse cars well enough to answer the simple questions

Re: ef question???
... and i'd bet my left nut that a front end change isnt that difficult. in fact im sure its just a matter of getting the parts and doing minor modifications no matter what year either car is...afterall an EF is the same basic element as a CRX
afterall i got my headlights from a 91 and had no problem fitting them on my 89 it was just a matter of swapping out the mounting plates
im pretty confident that the CRX and the EF are legos

Re: ef question???
You talk a big game for someone who doesn't know much.
US model civic, hatch, and crx.
ED3 = Civic4 Door, 1.5L
ED4 = Civic 4 Door, 1.6L
ED6 = Civic 3 Door, 1.5L
ED7 = Civic3 Door, 1.6L
ED8 = CRX, 1.5L
ED9 = CRX, 1.6L
EE2 = Civic Wagon, 1.5L
EE4 = Civic Wagon, 1.6L
The EF is a Japanese platform for the hatch, and the crx.
EF8 = CRX 1.6L VTEC
EF9 = Civic 3 Door 1.6L VTEC
Perhaps if the op would have worded the question properly the flaming would have been kept to a minimum. Insted it read like, "can you put a crx front on a crx?
BTW, congrats on rolling a 20 year old jetta with rims. No one doubted you.
