well its going to stick out of the hood alot. you could get the same results with the amount of money it'll cost you (him) with a B series.
but to your question. hasport makes mounts and im not sure what else youll need other than ecu trans and a custom hood of some kind of course.
for results there is an eg hatch where im from and it runs low 13's. i think his best time is a 12.9 witch is totally accomplishable with a b or d series and it wont stick out of the hood or throw of the cars weight distribution.
just my 2cents but id say its not worth the time, money, or effort needed to complete the swap. but props if it actually gets done because i can respect what it takes to get it done and its some what original... not just another B or D.

with the j-series swaps make sure you get the type with coil packs. distributor engines will not work.
a 6spd transmission along with shifter box and cables from 04-up TL or 03-up accord
the 6spd from a 03 cl type-s will work as well but there are bosses that need to be drilled and tapped
you will need a mount kit, axles, and wiring conversion
we carry the mount kit and axles
for the wiring conversion there are different places that make it and you can find them searching the net
the swap is a fun to drive swap with lots of torque

i believe that crx was in the newest or 2nd to newest edition of honda tuning, track down the issue and they have all the info on doing it into a crx, should be about the same. or at least a good place to start
