Icon2 EF Civic heater blower motor not working

So I've had my car for a few years now and over the past couple years my heater speeds have been going out, first it was speeds 1/2 and then 4, and then speed 3 would only work if I wiggled the lever to a certain spot..
So now no fan speeds work. I've recently replaced the blower motor resistor pack because I heard that was the problems. But it still doesn't work. The climate control unit has the a/c button, which lights up when i press it...

Anyone have suggestions?....

Check and see if you're getting power to the blower motor. If you are and it isn't spinning, replace it. If you aren't, it could be the actual switch that is bad.

Unplug the motor and use a voltmeter to see if power is reaching the plug. There are only two pins/wires -- power and ground so it's easy to check.

Re-reading your original post it does sound like your switch could be broken. Usually when the resistor goes, you still have the highest speed working. I have seen blower speed switches fail before. With that said, it would still be a good idea to check the motor for power first.

alright cool thanks man. And by switch, are you talking about the whole climate control thing?

By switch, I mean the device that has the power settings **** sticking out of it. I don't remember if it separates from the rest of the climate control, someone else will probably know though.
