Dpfi to Mpfi swap issues. Unusual results.
So heres my deal. I've done this conversion more times than ive scrubbed my sack but heres whats going on. I swapped my buddies b16 back into his ef cause he crashed his rex(all sensors are functioning and this is a whole new harnesses due to the harness getting messed up from the wreck). The ef is a 89 dx and we did the swap and mpfi conversion with his obd1 jumper harness also. When it came out of the rex the motor still ran and idled normal.
Now with the motor in his ef the motor will start sometimes and have a lumpy idle. Other times it just sits and cranks with no response unless we hit the gas and hold the throttle open and it just dies when we let go of the throttle. I have code 10(iat) and 14(iacv) nonstop popping up(no the plugs are not backwards).
I've taken apart the harness and double, triple and even quadruple checked and checked the wiring on the ecu. Everything is where it needs to be. All the grounds are tight. i've tried four different ecus on it. We've swapped out 3 main relays. I tried 3 different working dizzy's. i tested power to the injectors and all four are functioning. we changed the plugs after we fouled the first set. the tps wires have been flipped. we double checked timing. and we have hard wired various wires to see if any wires are broken or lost contact. the map sensor has been swapped out also. Im at a complete loss with this car, we've been at it for two days and have no idea what is going on. PLEASE HELP US!!!! Any feedback and help would be greatly appreciated.

also, i keep reading the write ups about running a black/yellow wire to the a15 pin on the ecu. i've never had to do this cause the two wires for the primary and auxiliary i usually splice to the power wire for the resistor box. am i supposed to cut the a15 wire from the ecu and splice it straight into the three wires that are spliced together already?

make sure the sensor grounds are still in good condition. IAT, ECT and TPS all share the same sensor ground (Green/white) wire. i know honda originally had all 3 butt connected together, make sure they have good contact.

Have you tried testing/repairing or replacing the IACV? Have you tried checking to make sure you have continuity in the wires from each sensor plug to the ecu plug?

Do you have the iat and iacv plugs mixed up some how??? There both 2 wire round style plug. Try switching them and see wat happens

Any particular spot i should find these ground besides at the ecu? i got ahold of a multimeter so i can check resistance values and voltage on the sensors. any ideas where to find all the voltage rating and resistance specs?
To everyone else: i did not mix the plugs for iat or iacv plugs backwards. and yes we flipped the tps wires. completely read my post guys.
Edit: To efjones, i did do those two twires together to the power for the injector box, look where you quoted me "i've never had to do this cause the two wires for the primary and auxiliary i usually splice to the power wire for the resistor box"
