dohc zc distributor wiring
This question is about modifying the distributor wiring when swapping a dohc zc into an 88 Si.
I need someone to tell me if what I did is correct because I’m having trouble starting my car.
All I did in regards to the wiring was to match all the colors from the wiring harness of the Si to the ZC plug. So what happens is that the wire color is the same from the harness to the distributor.
So, when plugged in,
if the wire is orange on the harness side of the plug it’s also orange on the distributor side of the plug.
It seems like matching the colors is the obvious thing to do but I want some confirmation.

I've seen those write-ups. They are all different and confusing.
All I want to know is if what I did is correct or not.

Perhaps there are a few different ones but this one is correct. If it is too confusing to you then perhaps you should leave the wiring to someone who can understand it. I'm sorry but the dizzy wiring on the ZC is very easy.

No. You need to have the two external wires separated for the CPS.

Re: dohc zc distributor wiring (wiZCo)
You guys are ridiculous.
All I want to know is if I can just match up the colors.
yeah I know you have to seperate the two blue wires.
If the wiring is soooo easy then why do you need a damn write up.
Do you match the colors or not? It's not that hard of a question.

I just matched the colors on mine. There are 2 white wires. If the car won't start, switch the 2 white wires. I had mine wrong the first time.
