D15B p08 ecu with boomslang obd-1 conversion harness o2 sensor question
Ok deal is i got a D15b vtec and i got the Boomslang obd-0 to obd-1 conversion harness. My question is the d15b is one wire o2 sensor and i have the p08 ecu also one wire o2 but the harness is setup for 4 wire. do i just not connect the four wires and run the original o2 sensor wiring from my 89 si harness? need help fast thanks in advance!

When I sell these harnesses, I communicate with you guys to find out more about your swap. Then I offer tech support to help you guys out. I guess you live and learn. For the one wire O2 sensor, connect that to the OBD1 D14.

Hey thanks blownhatch for your response i understand this is not your product but could you please elaborate? the p08 ecu reads a one wire o2 sensor since the d15b uses a one wire also but the harness is set up for the four wire do i just use a four wire o2?

You will probably want to use the 1 wire O2 sensor if you are using the P08 ecu. You will want to find the D14 wire off of the OBD1 side. It is the medium sized grey connector on the right when looking at the OBD0-1 harnesses right side up. The D connector will read:
1 3 5 7 9 11 13 15 17 19 21
2 4 6 8 10 12 14 16 18 20 22
This is looking from the OBD0 side into the back of the OBD1 plugs. D14 will be the 7th wire from the left on the bottom. Follow that wire to through the pigtail and connect that to the one wire O2 sensor.
You will probably want to use the 1 wire O2 sensor if you are using the P08 ecu. You will want to find the D14 wire off of the OBD1 side. It is the medium sized grey connector on the right when looking at the OBD0-1 harnesses right side up. The D connector will read:

Thank you so much for your help. I should have done more research on conversion harnesses before i made my purchase apparently. so that previous diagram you made the d14 pinout with the medium sized gray wire is on the stock harness? then follow that through the conversion harness and connect that wire to the one wire o2? youve been alot of help ill recomend your products and be sure to use them in any future projects!

No, that D14 is the OBD1 D plug, in the 14 Position. Look at the OBD0-1 pic in my post.

The D plug is the plug on the top right on the OBD1 side. The top wires are the odds and the bottom wires are the evens. You read them from left to right.

Ok i figured that out now traced the wire and it leads to a white wire one of the four needed for the four wire o2 and according to the diagram this is the o2 sensor signal the other three o2 sensor heater, o2 +12v and the o2 sensor ground will not be used correct? You have no idea how helpful this was for me you saved me a big headache!

ok after looking at the wiring on the harness more there are wires for a knock sensor and for secondary intake runners i know there is no knock sensor on the d15b so that will not be used what about the one wire for the secondary intake runners?

Those wires will not be used, but you will want to terminate them...heat shrink, etc to avoid any issues.
