Hmm, actually, this has a chance of looking very cool and unique in my opinion. I would have to see it when it's done tho It might not look so hot as I think.. and IF it gets done, I know lots of these things get left half finished.

All that JDMness could've landed you with a valuable car for resale...but you realize that the front end just kills your value now...right?

Among list of some good items being drowned out by complete ****, I noticed you wrote this...

As much as I'd love a perfect case for natural selection (ie, you) please don't do something so stupid as to race with a child in your car. Especially in a CRX.

I think I actually have a pic of a crx with an integra front- if you want it email me

why would i race with my kids in my car? I had a jdm back seat for a while and there wasnt enough room- I did it so I could keep my car, but my kids are a bit big for it now. I bought a civic when the engine seized in this one. Im not sure if I want to keep the custom seats or get a jdm one again- keeping the custom ones would mean extra money spent on re-covering them.

This car has been off the road for 2+ years now- I wanted to do a tail light coversion but something no one had done before, I was going to do 240sx lights but didnt look like it would work- Im using 90-96 300zx tail lights but i had considered 87 300zx tail lights which might actually work better. For the front I wanted the ferrari style head lights and 300zx worked the best- the measurements on all the parts was actually pretty close to the crx.

Id like to get a carbon fiber hood made if anyone knows where i can do that. being the hood is going to be custom Im sure that will be expensive.

Considering switching to the evo rear bumber but not quite sure yet- the dual exhaust look is just getting old and the evo bumper is lower. The front bumper is insanely low.

The biggest thing was the wheels- you cant get **** for a 4 lug, so I converted it to 5 lug. Im just sick of seeing the same old ****. I could afford a 300zx but it has its flaws, so I took the good qualities and added them to mine. The front will look better than the stock crx and the stock 300zx (in my opinion). The thing is like you all already know- there are more fun **** you can do with a crx than any other car. At one time I was actually going to buy a new civic and shorten it and make it look like what a crx would look like if it was re-released. That would have been more work than this is.

I want to make this as far from stock oem as possible- everything that isnt custom or aftermarket is jdm. Even the 300zx head lights are jdm. Everyone is doing the jdm thing, I felt that it had to be taken one step further.

I think its funny when people bag on JDM parts and they are saying its a craze and its turning into the next ricer. And they also say everyone has a EF8/EF9 front end. well if its such a craze and everyone has it then why is it so hard to find a decent front end and with out paying alot of money. Where i live there is alot of hatchbacks and CRXs and I am one of few that doesn't have gay clear taillights and big wings with loud exhaust. And I also am the only one that I've seen that has a JDM front end in my area (San Bernardino, CA area), I know there are a few more but i haven't seen them..... JDM will never be rice....... Unless you do what this guy is doing

Im sorry for that............well im done ranting for now..

back to the flaming
