crx si engine and underdash harness questions
So Im swapping wiring harnesses from an si to my std hatch, both engine and underdash harnesses. Only reason im doing this is cause my std harness got messed up long before I attempted the mpfi conversion. I've noticed the cabin harnesses for the rest of the car (break lights, seatbelt warning signal, rear blinkers,ect) has a different plug than the si, is it possible to depin the std plug and repin the wires to the si plug? Are the wires the same color on both models?
edit- the only plugs that seem different are the ones near the firewall opening on the drivers side by the door hinge and the main plug that goes from the guage cluster down to the top of the fuse box

I can tell ya that pretty much you better make sure you have all the harness to make it work.
also depending on the year si you grabbed it from will not hook up to your std.
88/89
or 90/91
plus also you have the si harness has sunroof on the body harness std does not.
few differences that will throw ya for a loop.
when I did mine, I just used all the harnesses from the si.

Oh yeah I picked up a complete titleless 90 crx si and am basically swapping everything good on that over to my car since I knew it ran. And my car never has. So yeah all the harnesses are there and I've made sure to take plenty of pictures so I wouldn't lose my place. As far as that different plug dilemma goes the wires basically depin and repin to the other plug. So I think my worries are over. And im just gonna keep certain wires tucked away since the crx originally had a/c.
