Hey guys ive been out of the scene for awhile due to military deployments etc. Ive just recently purchased a very nice 1988 red crx si. It has prelude seats in it and i don't like them. A buddy sold me a set of what he claims are 91 si crx seats but, my last crx was a 91 and i dont remember mine looking like this. Someone help me identify please. i picked them up for 100.00

they look like modified 88-89 crx si seats due to the fact that those seat belts don't look like they were originally mounted on the side.

I've never really looked at the CRX seats in detail but the seat and the fabric appears to match 88-89 Civic Si except the patterned portion goes up to the head rest on the Civic. I'd guess these are correct for the CRX but the seat belt portion looks a lot like the Civic sedan power belt/retract mechanisms.

those are 90-91 CRX seats the seat belts are from a Sedan or hatch that came with autobelts simply remove your stock belts from the prelude seats and install. they are in pretty good condition. i would recommend getting something to protect them. they are SI Seats for sure.

88-89 CRX SI seats, 90-91 SI seats had red stripes, 88-89 grey stripes.

These are actually 1988 only CRX si. In 1989 they added a red pinstripe to the pattern and obviously 90-91 are different. These are pretty rare in good condition. Great find for $100
Please be aware though that it appears he has done a seat pan swap with a 90-91 4dr which is why it has those damn seatbelts attached to them. you will likely need to do a seat pan swap in order to get them to bolt into you crx
