Default crx door won't work?

I bought a door for my 91 si, it came off what was said to be a 89 hf. We thought it was a 90 until we were told it was 89. The door looks exactly like my 91 and it has belts in the door. I read 89 hf doors do not. It also has side impact bars like my si, and I also read the earlier doors didn't. It is now mounted on the car and lines up on the front, but does not line up in the back. It sticks out on the bottom and is to far in on the top. Do you guys think I have the wrong door or do I need to bend or adjust mine to fit?

You probably already tried this but the 4 bolts that hold the hinges onto the car have quite a bit of play. You can use them to tilt the door how you want it.

I had the same problem. The 88-89 are different if you look at the plastic trim piece right past the window its smaller on the 88-89. You need the 90-91 door because its just a little longer. They needed room for the seat belt in the door.

it certainly isnt an 89 HF. they still had chassis mounted seatbelts. but since you have a 90 si, itll work fine.

you didnt align the door properly. take the front fender off and try again. dont try to align it with the car on jacks, have it sitting on the ground. it makes a difference.

if its got the door beam, then its the same thing as any other 90-91 door so whether its an HF or not, doesnt really matter does it? should be all the same and fit the same.

It worked! I took off the fender, loosened the bolts, pushed the door in place and tightened it back up. I have damage on the quarter so that made it look like the door was wrong. I still have a nice gap at the bottom that I need to fill w/ bondo.
