CRX canyon run/ togue!
I'm new to rex's. In fact I dont even have mine yet. But its comin soon! Well anyway, I was just wondering does anyone take there CRX through canyons? And how well does it perform? Considering its super light weight it should take turns with the quickness right?. Well I live in 818 Valley, So Cal. And there's canyons all around us, topanga canyon, coldwater, muholland, etc. Heh we are surrounded by mountains! But yea anyway Im thinking of getting a rex wondering how is does stock through a togue.
Thx Fred :D

Simply put, this is the most die hard group of crx/civic drivers out there. We frown upon such foolish acts.
We are out cutting up our knuckles fixing bent tie rods by hand, spending our last left over nickle to pay for trips to real race tracks and get a day of fun in and then share our life lessons to others, not jump into some childish trend taking some bone stock car thats about as old as its driver FLYING up and down public roads.

(no homo) YOU ARE THE MAN!!
Unlike some of the other sections in the forum, where everything is a matter of asthetics and VTEC, the real EFers are more concerned with keeping our rattletraps running and doing this in the most economical way possible.

Your an idiot. Canyon running does nothing but put other at harm if you are going to buy a CRX just for this the let it drop on your head so you don't hurt anyone. Tool bags like you are the ones that give the rest of us a bad name. So do the Honda community a favor and take your BMX bike and ride it off the side of a canyon.
If you want to see what it will do get hooked up with a sanctioning body and take it to the track otherwise. Just injury yourself enough that you can't physically drive a car or take my BMX example into serious consideration.

Never road race.
You moron. Your going to hurt someone or yourself.
But if you do, make sure you write it down with as much detail as possible. Then post your victory in Kills.
Then the same exact people who tell you you're stupid here will give you a big there!

Whats up with all you April of 07 NOOB's? Biggest bunch of fucktards this side of GDD. You don't need a CRX, leave them to the rest of us who want a great car to customize our own ways or not, and just enjoy them.
Your attitude screams mad tite ricer. Here you go, go but one of these and then promptly wrap it around the front end of an 18 wheeler in oncoming traffic.
Have a nice day.

Re: (92civicfreak)
i do mountain runs in my car. i stay on my side of the road and dont speed excessively on purpose. i use it to help understand the dynamics of my front wheel drive car (88 crx) more. i will take it to HPDE track days when i finish school. no, im not a ricer. i have been doing it for over 7 years (when i just got my license) before F&F set off all things rice, i think that was in 2001 or later. i dont drive like a maniac, i slow down when there is oncoming traffic. helps me understand understeer, oversteer, and snap oversteer more (first car, 1962 vw beetle, not something a ricer would be driving). i was drifting back when it was called powersliding and before the JDM trend caught on if i remember correctly.
the crx handles fine on mountains, mine understeers due to cut springs, blown shocks (thanks previous owner) but there are ways around it.
* exclaimer: i dont recommend doing what i stated above. try going to scca autocross events. they are in a controlled environment and you will learn how to drive and the weakpoints of the car.
