Default Coilover questions for my 91 civic dx hatch

I have a 1991 civic dx hatch and i want to lower it on coilovers for the adjustable ride height because i live in canada and im gonna wanna raise it in winter. its on 17" rims so im probably only going to lower and 1.5-2". im definately not looking to spend too much money but im wanting a decently smooth ride and wondering what my best options are. Should i save up for a full coilover system or just buy sleeves for my stock struts (i know this isnt a great option but how bad would it be with just daily driving and only a 1.5" drop)? im thinking about the skunk 2 pro s II, opinions? open to any suggestions on what i should get

Lowered car and smooth ride Good luck. Best setup your going to get with a bearable ride is koni/gc which is $800. Or get ebay stuff. You'll be lowered but uncomfortable.

You're gonna need less rim and more tire if you want a smooth ride. 17's on an EF is way too big

go with either the skunk2 pro s2 coilovers or koni/gc's. From what i've heard these are the two best coilovers that you can get for a ef. But 17" wheels are way to big. For ef's most people will go with a small low offset wheel like 15x7/8 and 16's at max
