Car shakes and vibrates during driving and braking very annoying and unlike anything.
i have a weird problem..
my car shakes when i drive. it happens every so often and some times stays at a certain MPH.
anyway the Steering wheel DOES NOT shake.
but i can feel it in the car, its more like vibration then anything.
i got an alignment, new tires and rims, new upper control arms and tie rods.
and yet this vibration is super annoying.....
please help... i need to know where to start

Seems as though your brake rotors could be warped. Check 'em out...and don't just change the pads...the whole rotor itself may need to be replaced...usually caused by riding the brakes, or slamming on them at like every light...good luck.

normally though when the rotors are warped you would feel it in the steering wheel (i had the problem in my crx and after i changed the rotors it went away but i did feel vibration in the steering wheel.), but i dont know it is worth a try

Did you get it aligned after you replaced each one of those things? I also hope the place you got your rims from balanced them. Generally this is the cause of shaking, especially if its at certain mph.
Your motor mounts also might be worn out (Almost a gaurantee if theyre the stock ones still) and youre feeling the vibration from the engine while cruising.

yeah after i installed everything i got it aligned.
yeah i got my rims balanced from walmart
my motor mounts are brand new for my ITR swap, there AZracing.
everything i installed has less then 500 miles on them.
i just don't understand why it doesn't transfer to the steering wheel.
and just to let you know.... it still steers straight.

WALMART!!! thats the problem i knew a guy who went through 3 tires of them blowing out of the side from over inflation and inproper balancing..... plus they lost all the lug locks off his wheels and the center cap off of one they are a shopping center not an automotive center....
My second guess would be your rotors... my rotors are warped and i get horrible shaking on my wheel when i press on my brakes......
The worst thing is how is sounds like my whole chassis is clunking under me when i accelerate or brake

I would get the tires balance some where other than WalSuck. I would get new pads and rotors.
Other issue could be a rack end bushing which have a good history of causing vibration.
Check all other bushing while you are at it in the front end.

No freakin kidding, "friends don't let friends take there cars to walmart techs!" Other than everything already mentioned it could also be tranny, differential or axle issues causing your problem. Take it to an actual HONDA tech, not walmart and they will proably figure it out pretty quickly

Are you sure its coming from the front. its not going to be anything connected to the steering assembly if it isnt transfering to the steering wheel. See if one of your motor mounts or your crank pulley is loose. Otherwise check all the bushings on your rear trailing arms.

sounds like suspension bushing to me.
wheel balancing would be much more reliable in replicating the vibration at certain mph.
for example, at 57-60mph youd feel a shimmy etc
however, if you dont feel the steering wheel shaking, it could involve the rear wheels or the bushings back there too.
how do those RTA bushings look?
