on my HF . when im driving around & come up 2 a stop sometimes the car just dies ?
so ussally i gotta keep on reving the moter when i stop so it doesn't die . what all would cause this ? fuel prob ? IACV ? or something else ?

increase your idle speed.

disconnect the plug on the iacv, increase idle speed, reset the ecu afterwards.

i ussaly rev to about 2 or 3 k .. i just try to stay above 1k & it's fine

check your egr valve it may be stuck

might be a stupid Question but what & where is the egr valve ? lol

hard to describe and i'm at work right now so i can't really find a good pic. someone will come up with one soon though.

in a nutshell, it stands for exhaust gas recirculation valve. if it sticks open your car will die when you stop or are at idle.

how is yur dizzy?? mine used to do that when my dizzy was getting ready to go. just a suggestion, check it out too

mine did that too but i had a bad battery and i needed to adjust the throttle screw...i dunno if the battery had anything to do with it tho

i know it's not the battery

haven't messed with the i dizzy yet , but i have a spare ,

no i havn't been 2 any bodyshops . but i did have 2 pull the front end back out a lil in my driveway

Idle screw on your Throttle body. Lefty losey=higher idle. (i think...)

my advice...take it to honda and have em fix it...it took me many dollars to fix this shiet...it was fuel related, fuel pump, wiring to fuel pump, and fuel sending unit apparently...only died when i stopped and gauge read below half a tank.

make sure your grounds (black wires running from the fuel pump) are tightened really well to the rear hatch area!

grounds are good

this is only a 100$ beater ! im not taking it 2 honda ,lol
