Icon6 A/C help! open forum.

Hey everyone. I have a 1991 Std hatch with a min-me swap. It never had a/c and I'm trying to pu it in. I have most of what I need already. Well I'm just concerned about the wiring anyone have any ideas I think there are some plugs under the dash that might be there for the possibility of a/c. Any advice or if you can think of any other things I might need. I appreciate any advice. Thanks.

What I have:
-hoses and all pipes
-receiver/drier
-evaporator
-compressor
-condensor

Check to see if theres wiring in the engine bay for the compressor clutch and the condenser fan and pressure switch. You will also need a relay for the compressor clutch and a bracket to mount the compressor to the block.HTH

p.s. check to see if the components you have are for an R12 system or r134 system because if it it's an R12 system, you will more than likely have to convert it to r134.

I got r134a stuff. I have the bracket for the compressor too. I just need to figure out the wiring. Thanks for the info.

Don't forget to replace all the o-rings on your A/C hoses.
