Default Brake booster question

I have a 90 Civic Si and I just picked up some EX knuckles and calipers. I am going to swap them in. I have no intention of swapping the rear to disks because I'm running HF aluminum drums out back. I will be swapping the MC and the proportioning valve from the EX.

My question is do I need to swap the brake booster also? I know the EX booster is larger than the Si's, but will it make a big difference or not that much?

You're foot will be pressing down further to make the brakes stop the same as the EX booster would do. Just get the EX booster.

If you are going to replace the MC, might as well replace the booster.

Booster won't do anything for you, but if you got it then go for it.
They are no fun to replace.
Even if you have the dash completely out of the car the nuts are pain to get at.

Clisped confused the function of the booster - you are upgrading to the EX MC along with the knuckles so you will not be experiencing any pedal travel issues.

Negative 4drEF, I did not confuse it. The EX booster is different than the LX in terms of power output. He will experience a longer push of the pedal when he swaps out to the 15/16 mc since he will be pushing more fluid through the system, so to compensate for more fluid, he will push further.

OK, so is there going to be a noticeable difference between the boosters? I will definitely have to agree with 4drEF on replacing/swapping boosters as far as the joy of the job, so if I don't need to do it, then all the better.
