Icon2 Best rim size???

I'm getting the new konig rollers for my ef. The price for 15" and 16" is the same. I don't wanna be the civic that looks goofy cuz my rims are to big or to small. Tires are going to be stretched. I know the wheel its self make a diffrence on what size to get sometimes. Help me out if you could guys. Thanks

Why worry about the rim looks when you are already going to look goofy stretching the tire?
Might as well cram 22's under there.

This.

Stretching tires looks completely ridiculous, why worry about the wheel size?

15's are hands down the best, but 16's are okay but require perfection to look good, here are some perfect examples

16"

15"

Go with 15s. Also stretching tires not only looks stupid but IS stupid IMO. I guess if it's only a show car it's alright performance wise but if you actually drive it the car don't stretch the tires. A lot of bad things can happen when the tire(s) burst into pieces.

The best rim is the original steel wheels

steel wont fracture if you hit a curb and it wont scar like a aluminum wheel

size

you only increase the size of the rim to allow for larger rotors
anything else and you might as well put on a pretty dress and lipstick too... who are you trying to impress???

Imo the best OEM rims in this application are the HX's - light weight and strong. Plus 14" rubber is plenty cheap.

could you go 15x8 or maybe even 16x8? I just recently bought a 91 hatchback but I really don’t know what sizes are good for the car

I agree with the responses to this ancient thread that 15x7 with 205/50/15 is a really good setup that doesn't present much headache when installing. It looks good and provides a relatively comfortable ride.

If you want to go wider or larger in diameter you should consider factors like wheel offset, ride height, and tire size.
