only way to go if you're really looking to make power, and not just to put a header on the car for the bling. if you want something decent that will hold up, DC headers aren't bad. I just don't think you'll find anything to compare to bisimoto performance-wise

bisimoto header- hands down only for the big dogs who want power.
smsp header- second best expensive effective header.
megan, ebay, obx, header- there all almost the same the megan is more expensive. but they all perform the same. i personally have a ebay as a cheap back up for when i get my bisi header. it was worth it.
dc sports header- it performs well if not a tiny better than a ebay header only thing good about a dc is it has a carb exempt plate for us california guys.

Wouldn't you say DC Sports is worth the money if it doesn't 'bang' on you?
$300 once for DC or $150 twice for Megan???
Even if eBay ones are just as quality for Megan, why buy something over and over? Some people get a great product though. I'll only buy a high name w/ quality when it comes to a part that is such of importance. </TD></TR></TABLE>
I've heard of 1 breaking so far and have seen many on local cars with my own eyes with no problems.

So a prototype is $500-$800 ($500 for D series), whats the price for a new one after real production is done?

production was done a long time ago on the first version. second version will be available soon hopefully by the end of this month or early next month. bisi plan to bring us either a street version that will fit with ac and power steering and the race version. both i think will be in the 500 dollar range

$500 for a header is honestly too much IMO. Thats literally half of a pieced together turbo kit And w/ a header how much power are you expecting to make? Just get an ebay header and buy something else with the rest of the money.

I think it's a steal for $500... similar designs for the B and K series motors run $1000 or more.

I had an 4-2-1 HP Racing header, on my CRX Si for 4 years. I sold the car and the header is still on the car to this day. The power gain was extremely noticable!

If you are on a budget look for some name brands on ebay that are used. If you can find one look for a mugen header or a jackson racing header, it would be a good bet. I have also seen some used greddy's for under $200

I have a DC Sport 4-2-1 2pc. header. Fits real nice, it stuck up high too so no scrapage if you're dumped. I noticed the gains over stock right away. I am happy with it. I wouldn't spend any more, or get anything else for a d series. Want real power? Boost it.

dyno charts showing the bisi header has an average of 8 hp gain over 3 dyno tests show that you get what you pay for.

Re: (92civicfreak)
I've been running a Megan header for a while on my 18a1 and it sounds very good. I agree with Tippyman about the welds on the collector not so great I re-welded mine and its just fine.
