what valve springs and retainers are you using. I like the skunk2 stage 2 but a lil bit pricey. and their springs and retainers are a must. ctr cams are cheep and perform well for the price
LMA are always good to replace with itr ones when running bigger cams

unless u go xtreme and start messing idle and some stuff up
i say get just something more agressive over stock....
people talk about cams thinking it gives them more power and thats it
true and false....
u can get more power(of course) but it varies on what part of the powerband it does work.,for example some cams can give u top end, some low end, some just mid,. ... u need something that gives u all along power gains without killing the rest of the car.... specially if its a daily driver... its not like u over 5k rpms all the time.... u need all time power...
go ask someone that tunes engine and they will tell u the same thing....
something better than stock and OEM will be CTR intake cam and a ITR exhaust cam... they have some of the bestt more agressive power gains from a stock point of view.,.....
to prove my talk i am going to quote some info from a honda engine pwerformance book....
" The camshafts are incharge of opening and closing the intake and exhaust valves. The cams affect how much air and exhaust gases flow into and out of the engine.The wrong cam choice can also turn ur car into a poor idling, soggy, slow gross emitter of hydrocarbons. The cams are in a way the brains of ur engine. By controling when, for how long, and by how much the valves open, they control the power delivery characteristics of ur engine. When buying camshafts are always goo dto buy billet camshafts. They also recomend using the ITR and CTR cams!! The stock ITR and CTR stock cams are the biggesst of the factory cams when it comes to specs. Remember to move the intake valve springs into the exhaust side and use ITR intake springs on ur intake side. this cams can give u 8 hp over stock.When it comes to camshafts, there are so many diff engine combos that can affect exactly how ur engine responds to changes in cams and cam timing, there are no hard rules, except perhaps DONT OVER DO IT!!! street driven engines should stick to factory type R variety of cams, or some of the aftermarket milders offering best results. A very common mistake its to install a too big of a cam and mess everything up.

I made some nice numbers with CTR cams and ITR springs and Skunk2 ti-retainers. I could make more but my compression is bad 165 across.
