Default Besides brakes/spindles, are RTA's the same?

I drive a 90 CRX Si and recently replaced one of my RTA bushings. While pressing out one of the bushings I somehow managed to ruin the collar the bushing goes into. It' no longer circle and more oval (Thumbs down).

A friend of mine is getting rid of some trailing arms from a 89 CRX Si. I know the rear is drum but I'd like to know how hard it would be to convert to Disc. What I'd like to know is if the trailing arm is the same and if it would be easy to take my spindle off my arm and put it on his.

Thanks.

Actually they are the same believe it or not. The trailing arm itself that is.

That would be correct...but I believe the Bushing on the DA trailing arm might be a little different. Don't quote me on that though lol...

the trailing arms are the same, just as vap says..

The difference is: the disc style weigh more than the drum style trailing arms. If you are looking for weight savings, the drum are your best option.
