Default Battery Draining? what could it be

Ok before you guys freak out I have searched.

So far i have used a test light in between the negative battery cable and the negative battery post and the light is on but it is dim. I pulled every fuse in the car 1 at a time and the light did not change nor did it shut off.

I think I may have caused this problem when i pressure washed the engine bay, I did cover the distributor and stayed away from the fuse box and other important electrical parts. FYI it is a 91 dx sedan. I have had this issue before and it turned out to be the rear defroster which I unplugged and removed the fuse.

What i am asking for if is there is any other way to pinpoint what is draining the battery? i just noticed this a little bit ago so i am not quite sure how long it takes for the battery to die. thank you in advance

Default Re: Battery Draining? what could it be

A former PARASITIC DRAW problem led me to the automatic door latch hinge inside one of the doors. If that IS the problem you can use the parasitic draw test to determine which side is faulty. Another culprit of parasitic draw may be faulty diodes inside the alternator...Good Luck
