Default B18b Swap into 88 CRX auto HELP HELP HELP@!@!@!@

I have an 88 crx dx dpfi automatic and i have 2 ls motors a b18a and b18b and i want to keep it automatic. i have a couple questions:

1. Which motor is easier to swap into my crx.

2. What wiring or re-wiring do i have to do.

3. Does any one have a step by step how to guide for this exact swap setup.

4. What are all the parts that i need to make this swap possible. ( i know what parts are need...just making sure i didnt miss anything)

5. Is there anything else i need to know???

Any help with this would be awesome. Thanks alot guys.

Both of those motors are the same, I think the only diff is the intake manifold. Which is almost the same. I ended up having to get way more for my swap than what other people were saying. My list just for the swap went:

d-series to b-series motor mounts
ls and dpfi engine harness to rywire
b-series shift linkage
ls axles
ls intermediate shaft
rear engine mount bracket
ls throttle cable
ls clutch cable
then a tranny that came off a b-series motor, I used a 93 gsr cable tranny.
Most people use b16 trannies cause they are more common.

Then I ended up rebuilding the whole upper end. Got the head work done and new gaskets, head studs, eveything was new and/or replaced minus the block.

Hope this helps! GL!!!

you're going to need an automatic transmission that bolts up to your B-series engine. The stock one won't work. Also you need an automatic ECU. As far as wiring changes, there should be a thread in the FAQ.

I dont think the axles are the same. Like HF2ZC said, you will also need an auto or manual ecu depending on what tranny you use. When I first did mine I swapped everything the exact same as a LS would be. 92-93 integra use pr4 OBD1 ecu's. If you use a FMU like hondata you can use any ecu you want. Now I run a p28 with s300. Just make sure vtec is not enabled.
