Another crx hf d16z6 post!!!
Ok guys check this out.......Honestly i have searched and yupyup no luck in this 1.....
-i have a 91 crx hf and well i just put in the d16z6 and no start
-i put the whole car together....
-using stock ecu,same harnes and hf distributer.
im a new b with honda...
please help me out

There is no reason this shouldn't fire right up.
Did you check for fuel, spark and compression?
Are you 100% sure you have the spark plug wires on the SAME as you would on the HF?
What fuel injectors are you using (you can NOT use the Z6 injectors if you still have the HF resistor box in place).
Check all your grounds - very common to forget to hook one up... especially the one on the tranny side.
This is going to run SUPER lean if you get it running on HF components.
You realllllyyyy should upgrade to the stock ECU for the Z6 and OBD1 electronics (distributor and 4 wire O2 sensor).
You will not have vtec with your HF ECU - cool you seem to be making sure it runs by using the HF stuff, but it's really wrong for the final result.
There is no reason this shouldn't fire right up.

Yo 4drEF..thanks no im using all the stock parts. i just droped in the d16z6. i understand i wont have vtec but i need the car 2 drive me 2 school...i am using the same injectors it had.....i will double check the grounds.
i seen some site where they have the conversion for obd1.
