lol.

glassroof is sat in my bro in laws garage waiting someone to but it (got a very small crack running across one corner). sorry im not shipping it anywhere, if you want it come and get it ( £50!). though if i had $10 for everytime someone from the u.s asked me about it i would be quite rich

no painted pics yet, that wing as a test spray of the color fro ma rattlecan, hence the lack of shine and crisp reflections (make an orange look smooth! ) it was just to give an idea of the color it was going to be. i ran out of time and ran into some complications so i left it with my spraying guys to finish

should have the car back some point this coming week. so expect mass whoreing of my b20 mugen :D WEEEEEEeeeeeeeeeeeeee!

as for window trims i cheated.
the front trims are still on there, rather than cut them all off i just knifed off the very outer edge of the trim where it meets the window frame (so i can get paint down there and mask the seal). looks ok, also over the years the movement of the seals against the frame had eaten through the paint they were touching.

for the rear quarter rubbers im not re-fitting them, they look naff! looks much cleaner without them.

still need some new roof gutter strips from mr.h and some clips for the lower window moulding. got a feeling those are going to be on back order!

ogm y car came with a sunroof as its a UKDM vt, not an SiR. my carbon fiber sunroof is going back in until one of our traders make us up some carbon fiber blanking plugs. still need to buy some formed polycarb rear hatch glass and rear quarters and that seibon rear tailgate in carbon to go with my CF bonnet and sunroof, tempted for their mugen spoiler in carbon to

dude rebuy the window trim! omg your car looks like its missing hella stuff. its 30$ a piece to buy all the quarter moldings for the crx. i bought them all for my car. also 100 for the front windshield molding with clips.

after that itll look nice. cause the black caulking isnt shakin it

lmao!

of course its missing ****.
i did a full 9 hour day yesterday (at work), then had to go to the paint shop in the pitch black after i finished and put both bumpers on, fit a sun roof...by myself..in the dark, all lights back in and pull off all the masking and get it back to being able to drive it home.

was up until midnight pulling of masking and went to bed, up again to do a full day at work. pics were taken during my 30min lunch today. got all the trims sat in my garage. just not had time to put them back on yet

will be fully back together, and washed and ready for a complete photo whoring session this weekend. not fitting the rear window trims, they look utter crap. there is no black screen glue in that recess, what you can see is the remains of the cutting/buffing polish the painters used when they wet sanded the clear down ,its in every nook and cranny, also loads of flaky paint that was sat on top of the masking is all over the car . plus window edges are covered in masking tape glue. clay bar should remove all that (i hope lol!). i finish work at 5.30 pm, its dark by 6pm

its not really that pearly unless its got the full sun on it, tbh most of the time it just looks like a UPS van brown but a few tones darker
gotta love the rootbeer.

its honda element rootbeer. (brown with a copper pearl)

and as far as i know i am the first person in the UK to paint a honda it (to start with we dont even get honda elements, let alone rootbeer ones lol!)

its looks sick out of the sun, really dark, from a distance a near black (matches the cf bonnet more) gloss is insane to, painters did a good job

be nice if they would fit.
those are et38 and anymore and the eagles will be on the arch lips. also they JUST clear my rover mgzs180 brake upgrade (282mm disks with the rover calipers, pistons are WAY bigger than the 262mm vtec ones and the pad size is huge to) down side is it limits to some offsets unless you use spacers and longer studs

nope.

guy on www.hondacrx.co.uk/forum sells fiberglass copys of a genuine PRO2 kit for £550 gbp (looks for posts by MAZ in the traders section)

my sides and rear are genuine mugen items from a PRO1 kit (hence the twin exhaust cutouts) the front is a copy front from him. very decent fit and excellent quality!!

cant wait to get this peel off and get it washed. been holding out all week, been oven baked and cured then polished, just been sat in the sun for the last week letting the uv rays microwave the paint to make sure its really hard before i wash it.
