91 CRX SI, ZC Motor. Black Widow Project
Here are some pics of my car. I'm trying to sell it on ebay. If it doesn't sell, I am planning to do some work on it. So what kind of ZC do I have exactly? Is it like a d16ZC... or am I just lost. I have no idea what the hell I have exactly. Somebody help. I'm looking for a turbo but so many aplications.....

Another Si bites the dust.
I know its different strokes for different folks but it always makes me a little sad to see a car so perfect as the crx si "Moded" so much.
The engine you have there is a DOHC ZC

If you wanna sell that car and make some $ take off all that body stuff and try and get the body to stock.
Good luck

Re: (racingcrx)
You have a very dirty JDM 1.6L OBD-0 DOHC ZC. The year of the car that the engine came from should be marked on the exhaust side of the head in a two digit number like 88 or 89 found between ports 3 and 4.
Most likely it came out of a 1988-89 JDM Integra.
What ECU are you using?

No tears. Only dreams, now.
I love the lack of paint, altezzas, body kit, lack of a battery tie down, and the missing timing cover. It just gives the impression of you not giving two ***** about your car.

Re: (VashTheStampede)
This is my point I dont want to offend you man but the car looks like ****
the Ef chassis was not meant to have a widebody or and big body alteration (ie teg front ends ect ect) the whole appeal of the car is its old school boxy shape.
If you wanna sell it at you need to finish the paint ,clean up the engine bay, and make it appeal to the showcar crowd cause at this point it would prolly cost too much to make it OE again.
Good luck brotha

Yeah. I read the title, which is why I think you're a complete fuckup. Sell the car, and don't ask us stupid questions everytime someone wants to buy it. It's ugly, it's a waste of money, and may God have mercy on anyone who buys your "project" pile of bat ****.
(By the way, that's a blacktop ZC, as opposed to the browntop).

What I like about these forums is all the "positive" imput from all the users. As if everyone has a perfect car. As if everyone has the exact same taste. I apreciate all the positive and negative input but really its my car. Unless your gonna give me the money to make it look like the way you want in to look just keep all the negative comments to yourself.
I may be a fairly new user to Honda-Tech, but I didn't join to bash on anyones car, and definitely not to have mine bashed on either.

Boo-*******-hoo.
We're giving you input for when you sell it. If you think we're bad, imagine what the population will say. Your car is half-assed. Nobody (who isn't a ******* retard mind you) will buy that heap for anything more than 1500. Either paint it like Stoich said, or throw it away.
Input is input. This time, most of us are giving you the negative variety.

Re: (VashTheStampede)
You should know that because our cars are getting older and its getting harder and harder to find clean examples of them ( especially Si ) guys who love this chassis get a bit pissy with they see one changed so much.
Like I said above no offence or malice meant but since you said you where trying to sell it and you said "help" ................ your best bet is to finish it and enjoy the car since it is "your car and your tastes"

I agree with Vash
You want an honest opinion or not? If you do, you came to the right place : your car is as worthless as the rest of ours just more so

Re: 91 CRX SI, ZC Motor. Black Widow Project (remstarasianboy)
Yeah sad to say your car is a pile of ****. I dont understand what state of mind you people are in when you come up with these ideas. Yeah to each his own but anyone in there right mind would realize that a wide body on a CRX will not look good. Hence the title "PROJECT" yeah we do but my question to you is when did you plan on begining your project?? A project is something that someone is continuoisly working on to make it better. It looks to me like your CRX has been nothing but neglected. Seriously your car is a POS and like the other guy said may god have mercy on who ever buy that thing!

My other ?? is what rims did you plan on using to compensate for the WIDEBODY! Did you plan on using the Si rims or did you forget that you need to have a different offset since you decided to add 12 inches to the car!

Re: (VegaS10)
i kinda bought the car cheap. the previous owner didn't do much for it. i was planning on a b16 or b18 swap. rims with spacers. i already bought sparco gas tank cover with lock. if it don't sell then i guess i will have to keep working on it little by little. I just don't have funds right now. i guess i will have to borrow it from my parents and finish it up. if don't sell, i will finish it up and repost pics.
