Default 91 Civic Dx manual/obd1 b18a1 - Wires hacked

I'm a newbie and got someone to help me build up my first Honda. So the guy asks me for the wire harness and I handed him the b18a1 so he turns to the firewall and cuts all the wires. I have pics. So now I have to figure out htf to fix this. The car is a 1991 Honda Civic hatchback Dx manual and the engine is a b18a1 obd1. I have the ecu conversion harness. What other harness do I need and can I get it to be plug and play bc someone already fuked me.

either swap out the front interior loom with a unmolested one or solder all the chopped wires back on.

It would be better to swap the loom imo.

I'm sorry this happened, but I'm a visual thinker and LOL!!!!
He actually was on the right track.

You have 2 options - get the firewall plugs for a B18 CABIN harness and attempt to become an electrical wizard by splicing them in correctly to your Civic DX cabin harness. Then you can plug in the B18 engine harness. This sounds like what 'the guy' was going to do and it's a serious wiring nightmare. B18 engine harness may look similar, but it is not the same as your stock engine harness. It seems logical to use the B18 engine harness since that's the engine you are putting in, but it actually is not - your car never had a B18 so replacing HALF of the wiring harness isn't going to get the job done.

The preferred method for any Honda engine swap is to use 100% all of your original wiring and adapt it to fit the new engine. You should have handed 'the guy' your Civic DX engine harness. Then you just do a DPFI > MPFI conversion (check the FAQ thread and GOOGLE for what that is - easy) and then move a couple connectors about to fit the B18 engine. Really easy.

So... I suggest you locate a replacement Civic DX cabin harness with unmolested firewall plugs to replace yours -or-get your original plugs back and do a quality job soldering/shrink-wrapping them back on. Then convert your stock DX engine harness to match the new engine.
