Re: 90 civic Si de-rice build thread/ daily driver
so this afternoon I start to back up and when i put it into first it just revvs like the clutch is gone, but it hadnt been slipping so I was like WTF??? so I popped the hood and look down and see this
I found the bearings one by one in a row in the yard then I see that my transmission is laying on the ground so I go for further inspection and find this!

the plate that bolts to the transmission and the mount has a hole blown through it when the bolt was and the other bolt was just missing
lucky for me I had extras!
so I bolted a used mount I had in my shop with the plate bolted to it, jacked the trans up with a floor jack and bolted on the new plate and mount,
and wrapped it in syrane wrap and ducttape will I get a new boot will post pics later, took it for a test run and all was good, I was just so glad that happened at home.
