Check Fuse #3 in the dash fuse box? Connection at the power door lock control unit. THe control unit mounts behind the driver's door panel. If Fuse 3 is good and the connections at the control unit are good then most likely suspect is the control unit. Inspect the terminals of both sides of the connection. If the plastic liner is not there to protect the control unit moisture/ rain can cause problems at this connection. Look closely. Oh will the power locks work with the key in the door locking /unlocking the doors ? Good luck

the fuse is good, and by connection i guess you mean its plugged in?if so yes it is.the wires going to it however have no power at all going to the, with the key on or off.and no the power locked will not operate at all as im getting no power to them, but if i jump the wires the locks work....

I got the same problem going on. it started about a week ago so I took my door panels off and disconnected the power door lock control unit, since I am a noob all I did was push in the pins and connect it back and locks worked again, but two days later they stopped working again. I'm starting to think is the control unit, and I think same goes for you.

You shoud have power on white/yellow stripe wire at pin #13 at the power door lock control unit. If not check for power on both sides of connector 461 pin 7 or 11 but same color wire. This connector is located at thefront of the door right above the lower hinge. There is probably a problem at this connector. Either way you have an open in the white/yellow wire between the control unit and fuse #3. Find it and fix it. Good luckANd follow up . By the way I love 4 doors.

I have a 1990 LX 4dr and mine dont work as well. = P idk what the problem is with mine the fuse is fine and when i push the switch it makes a click noise but nothing happens... in the fuse box it take a 20 or 30 i think and i put in a 15 and that didnt blow so i dont think any power is even getting to the fuse.

don't know what that relay is , but it probably isn't finding any ground since the metal tab on it isn't bolted down. In your pic, there looks to be a great mounting spot on that rust piece of metal in the back. just one nut on it... clean it up with some steel wool or sand paper to ensure a good metal to metal electrical ground.

Re: 89 lx 4 door, power locks not working....
i had the same problem when i did an lx conversion on my dx. it turned out to be the wiring to the fuse box was disconnected from a similar relay as shown. I inspected all the grounds, and properly grounded them. Sometimes the actual dashboard skeleton doesnt ground properly, and it can be simple errors that cause such an ugly problem. Id check connections, to fuses, and possible disconnected plugs at the doors.
