Default 89' hatch swap from auto to manual

Does the transmission mounting bracket on the car not align with that on the manual transmission?

I would imagine they are different mounts.

50805-SH3-040 003 001 RUBBER, TRANSMISSION MOUNTING (MT)

50805-SH3-A80 004 001 RUBBER, TRANSMISSION MOUNTING (AT)

They have different part numbers. I would suggest picking up a EF civic cable trans D-series transmission mount. Make sure you don't get a hydro mount.

I was asking about the actual bracket that is part of the car not the transmission.

https://honda-tech.com/honda-crx-ef-...-swap-2237928/

the Ef guide - auto to manual - Civic Forumz - Honda Civic Forum

I've seen no mention of the bracket being different. I imagine the shells are all the same.

Thanks freemanananananananan that is exactly what I needed. It does say that it'll be difficult to get to the bolt with a good set of tools.

I got a 89 hatch for 150, missing engine and hood. Clean body and paint.

Start with the rear engine mount, then passenger side trans mount and lastly the driver side engine mount.

I did it the opposite way initially, huge mistake. The order definitely makes it the least difficult.
