When I hit the brakes with my headlights off, everything is fine. Both brake lights come on no problem.

It's when my headlights are on and I hit the brakes the right light doesn't come on. I know there are two filaments in the bulb, the first one works to light up my tail lights but the secondary for my brakes to get brighter doesn't come on.

I'm at work now so I haven't done any troubleshooting I was just posting to see if anyone had any ideas. I'm going to check out the socket with a multimeter later.

Basically what I'm wondering is if there are any common pinch points for the harness' in CRX's to short out my brake lights?

did this just start how long has it been doing this dose your car leak water????

I literally just bought the car from some guy. I think it leaks I'm not 100%. It's been doing it the whole time it was in my possession. I didn't have a chance to check it with the multimeter tonight

sounds like something was wired up incorrectly or it could be the leak let us kno wat u find

sounds like an over lapping wire neer the fuse box

If it has a leak you might want to check for corrosion around the grounds... that fixed my problem

hah im a noob at electrical stuff...umm so the fuse box underneath the steering wheel? the wires are overlapping?

I'll check for overlapping wires tomorrow. I'm also going to trace the wire back to see if its pinched or split.
