go here bro, Ive done it and it all came together. I also replaced the engine/interior harness from an si car so i wouldn't have any doubts about my wiring. You can do the swap by using automatic harness by jump wiring some connection which the the link tells you.

Tranny, linkage(both included with swap) pedal bracket and a guage cluster, clutch cable. Talk to bob I dont remember his user name, I think its 90blackcrxdx or something like that, he has actually done it.

Its not very hard to do I have done it and also did what Sammex did and replaced all of my harnesses from an si into my DX so then just like him I didnt have to worry about wiring.

As for not wanting to leave a trace from being an automatic there really wont be any accept where the shifter was. You could do what I did though and I cut out that section by the shifter out of an Si and put that up into my car so then it would be just like stock so I can use the inner rubber shift boot and it looks like it came with a 5spd. Otherwise if you dont put in something there there will be a too big of hole where the shifter is and also another unused hole where the auto shift linkage went through.

Biggest things for wiring would be the reverse lights there on the shifter of the auto trans and on the tranny itself for a 5spd so you would have to run the wires fromthe shifter out to the tranny, and also the neutral safety switch well park/neutral switch for the auto tranny you would either have to solder those wires together or put in the neutral safety switch for the manual (which is on the clutch pedal bracket) and then run the wires to it so then it would be just like factory.

There is already a hole there for the clutch cable so no problem there and the pedal assemblies are identical with the exception of no clutch pedal on the automatic pedal set so that is an unbolt and bolt in affair.

You can still use your automatic gauge cluster it will just have the gear selector still on it of course but it wouldnt hurt anything. You may want to pick up a speedo cable from a manual cause not positive if they are the same or not?? I think they are but I could be wrng??

Well what else did you need to know?? There are also a lot of topics on this as well so if you search most likely under archives you will find a bunch of info as well.

ive got an 88 si, so i should just take every last bit of the wiring out of it and put in my dx? how will that effect the b16a swap?

Well if your going to swap out the whole harness you have to make sure you do the whole harness and I mean all of the wires then cause there are some differences in wiring between 88's and 90's BUT if you swap out ALL the wires there shouldnt be a problem.
