1991 Honda Civic Wagon
I am a first time Honda Car owner. I own an 04 Subaru STI, an 04 Honda RC51, 04 Ford Ranger, 06 325I, and a 1972 Mini Cooper S.
I would like to build this car slowly and make it a nice all around performer. I work for a Honda dealership so it would be nice to build a Honda.
Any suggestions where to start?

Re: 1991 Honda Civic Wagon
Personally I would love to see a full oem restore. Ive not seen many of those (not that popular with the tuners) and for someone to restore one would be awesome. Be sure to post pictures of the project!

Nice looking wagon.
Basically, the 2WD wagon takes the same upgrades as any other EF so check out the EF FAQs.
Spends some time on the wagon forum for specifics about wagon quirks. It's a good group.

What are your goals? I have MPFI conversion, cruise control, and EX brake upgrade parts taking up space in my garage but this thing gets me to work everyday and gets 35MPG+ in town with the AC on. I hate to mess with it.

Re: 1991 Honda Civic Wagon
Maybe the OP can chime in some things like budget? Other then a mild jack of all trades is there anything he wants out of it? Any laws or racing bodies he'll have to fall in line with?

I was thinking of lowering it, what springs would be good?

Re: 1991 Honda Civic Wagon
I am on a tight budget with all this things. I am looking to drop it, fix or replace the front seats and have nicer wheels on it. Get it painted. It has a problem with the tach sometimes it works sometimes it does not. Any ideas where to start looking?
Thanks,
Thanks,

I love the wagon though, I have always been a fan because you dont see them out there too often. If it were me, I would clean it up first and make the car true, fix the seats, tach, ect., and then go from there after doing your research on the wagon section of this forum. Good luck, keep us posted with new pics

Re: 1991 Honda Civic Wagon
Hey man...I just bought a '91 RT4WD, so I'm in the same boat as you. Just trying to get it drivable again before I start modifying it.
My typical 'mod-path' starts with suspension, brakes, wheels. After you do that, the driving experience is so much better.
