first thing you should do is convert to multi point if the car isnt already

there are tons of write ups so that even the noobs could do it

that will open up your options by like 387628658383296%

^x2! i vote D15b7 its OBD1 so you will need a jumper harness but i picked up a running longblock for $100 tossed on a napa timing belt for $40 58,XXX and counting everyday it see's redline 4-5 times!

if you're looking for reliability i'd go with a zc swap, being that you're here in oregon not really any swap laws.

unless you're lookin to go for some real power down the road.

the way i see it is this:

stay d series, boost it, have a blast

go b series, more all motor options as well as boost. costs more though.

Drop in a b18b or b18a. Fairly cheap and big potential later
