1989 Civic Si (GSR swap going in)
Hey guys, finally decided to join HT since I'm on a computer at work most of the time now. Sorry ahead of time if I didn't search well enough but I've tried finding a thread about swapping a 95 gsr into my si, I'm sure there are plenty, I just can't seem to find them. I have everything for the most part I am just looking for a decent write up it, I've found generalized write ups for b series but nothing that great.
If anyone can link me to a writeup, it'd be greatly appreciated, ready to get this a6 out of the car.
One last thing, in you guys opinions, should I worry about an aftermarket linkage or just hack a DA one up and reweld it?
Again sorry if there's a million threads, I went back a few pages and can't find much of anything.
Thanks guys!

I know all of that mentioned in that link, I'm looking for something a little more in depth. That's more or less just what is needed. Thanks though.

I just did my swap last summer also. It's straightforward. That link that HondaPartsHero provided is pretty much all you need. Unless you have questions of your own, that isn't already answer in the link then ask away. I can try and help.
For shift linkage, don't cheap out. There's hasport and innovative. I went with innovative since my motor mounts are innovative.
Good luck!

If you've never swap before, then you will probably run to problems. But it's fairly simple to figure out what the problem is. Just make sure you knock the driver side shock tower area to properly fit the alternator. But before you start knocking away, align the motor over the engine bay and mark up where you have to make a dent. That was the only thing I had to do to my engine bay. I'm hoping you have a cable tranny, unless you're going with the hydro conversion then I can't help you with that. I stuck with a cable tranny. I didn't really read the article posted by HondaPartsHero but have the half shaft already on the block to make things easier when comes to installing the axles. If there are any problems, just ask. I'm not gonna tell you to do some searching. LOL. I know how that feeling is. GOOD LUCK!
