Re: 10 dollar bumper make over
nice fine, i got a da lip on my hatch too , but next time you might wanna sand the lip down thrown and shoot little paint on it, a little prep work can make a world of difference in appearance.

Re: 10 dollar bumper make over
damn thats not just a DA3 lip, thats the Special Edition lip. i was trying to track one down when i still owned the DA3 but never did find one. though i did find the side skirts and rear wing.
The LS and RS of all years shared the same front lip. looks alot like the EF lip i think. but the LS Special edition had a different front lip, as well as side skirts that slightly resemble the DC2r optional side skirts. (which is actually where the idea of the DC2r side skirts originally came from)
86-87 front bumper and lip
my motivation to fix mine up. 88-89 front bumper w/ LS Special Edition kit. may actually be a special edition.

^^thats the bumper that was at the junk yard, it had the wrap around-type bumper lights like that one, thats why i thought for a second it was an ef9 bumper.

Re: 10 dollar bumper make over
i acctually did sant it and threw a couple coats of bumper coating on it. the passenger side of the lip is really banged up and is kind of warped, its is scraped up really bad and the plasted is pretty thin and limber and not stiff enough to hold its shape as well at the rest of the lip.

Re: 10 dollar bumper make over
i would like some prelude fogs better, these will work until i find them. i cut out holes in the bumper INSIDE the outline for the jdm fogs, so one i find a set i will just have to cut the outlines and it will be like the intergra fogs were never there. so it works. haha. sept now that i have my bumper mounted right, the back of the drivers side fogs hits the fram and gets pushed out just a little bit so it doesnt fit flush with the bumper anymore... still working on it thoguh.
