Default 1.5l water pump replace question

Do i have to remove the crank pully to remove the lower belt cover to remove the water pump? if so do i need a puller?

Yes. But u can change it without removing the cover.

you dont need a puller, remove the bolt with an impact gun and just slide the pulley off its simply held on with a keyway

Ok is the bolt regular or *** backwards thread? and is there a trick to stop the pully from turning?
Having trouble geting bolt out and i have a impact gun.
