just raced at Marion County International Raceway in LaRue, Ohio Friday.
My setup:
91 CRX Si, jdm B16a w/ y1 tranny & pw0 ecu, rigged intake, punched out catalytic converter with stock exhuast, stripped down 140lbs to 2140lbs (2320lbs with driver). front tires with 28 psi on best run:

reaction .7728
60ft 2.4072
330ft 6.6031
ET@594ft 9.3481
1/8 ET 9.9703
1/8 mph 72.32
1/4 ET 15.2990
1/4 mph 91.07

that was my first time down the strip, only got 4 runs in. other reaction times were .6850, .6549, and a red light from hell. lol. lost to a pontiac grand prix? supercharged; beat 92-95 civic ex, v6 camaro, and 92-95 ls powered civic sedan. I'm hoping that with a few mods and fine tuning my driving i can get down to atleast 14.9's soon. but first I have to replace some suspension parts. so there's my track story.
so anyway myJDM89EF, where do you race at? What is your setup? It would be cool to see a fellow HT ef'er at the track, and i'm assuming the "6 1 4" is columbus area. we should race sometime.

Why do you people post your reaction times? You do realize they have nothing to do with the ET, right?

It might not change the ET, but it can mean if you win or lose. Who cares tho. I'd rather see the whole slip then some 15.4@89mph thing.

I'll take mine to the track sometime this summer before and after turbo.

JACOOP86 , seems you should be running a lot better time than a 15.2 with that set up.

Last year I hit a 14.7 with my ls swapped full interior 90 hatch. I had ignition, header, intake, tuned ecu, and intake. I had a crappy launch and crappy tires. I could have run faster if it didnt one wheel wonder on me but by the time I could go around again My fuel pump went out on me.

and there is your answer, also my alinement is messed up. but anyway i'm happy with my first time, near 06 civic si speeds... not bad for ~$4000 vs. $20k+

so when is national trails open to us street cars, i looked at thier website but could only find 2 past "test & tune" sessions and 2 dates in the future, october i think. is there any other time that they let us race?
i think i'm going to try norwalk sometime this season, but i'm not sure on thier schedule.

and about that exhuast, when you selling? how much? what is the internal diameter of the piping? i'm looking to get a cat-back soon, i was thinking of doing a custom 2 1/4 or 2 3/8 inch exhuast with a skunk2 muffler or something but if price is right...

dont even need mods and tuning just practice a couple of more times and you should be able to hit 14.9 or even less

88 CRX HF - DOHC ZC, Header, modified exhaust, no rear interior, azenis on HX's - best time was 14.8, but have not been able to duplicate that time since then, I think the stock clutch is loosing a little grip, runs 15.0 now.

B16a1 already dropped in, stage 2 clutch, weight reduction mods, currently sitting at 1700lbs without driver. I'm having injector issues, as soon as I get the bugs worked out im hoping for low 14's high 13's maybe with a used set of drag radials.
