For those of you who have bought a CAI on Ebay what kind did you get. As you know there are several kinds on there. But for those of you who had good luck with yours, its nice to know that someone has had a good expericence with it. Also for those of you who have bought one, have you noticed a loss of gas mileage? My 97 EX D16Y8 is all stock, including exhaust ive heard it changed the sound to a deeper tone? Is that true?

I've had two ebay cold air intakes. The first one was crap compared to the second one but at the time it seemed all right. The first one fit like crap. There was no rubber piece for the sensor to plug into. The connections for the pipe to the intake manifold were the wrong size. The second pipe (the one that connects to the filter) fell off along with the filter, that's why I bought another one. The one I have now is perfect. All the problems with first one are gone. Here's the link for for the seller's store: http://stores.ebay.com/EautoRacing They had the cheapest one on ebay too.

yeah ok then my opinion on the cold air intake is that if your gonna go and spend $200 on a crapy intake that gives you maybe 20 ponys (aka 10 horse) you should save your money and spend it wisly on a more cost effective cold air intake and i will even tell you what the intake is called its called a TURBO yeah thats right i said it. A turbo set up cost in the range on 2k which yeah is 10 times the amount of money than the c.a.i. but then again it will give you 10 times plus the amount of ponys (200+ ponys/100+ horse) btw i think everyone should use my ponys expression more b/c it sounds better b/c you need 2 times the ammount to get a horse bwhahahahahahah
