D-series Skunk2 Intake Manifold questions
Hey guys. In the middle of putting my d16z6 in my new shell. I decided now would be a good time to swap out the intake manifold for the skunk2 I got. I picked the manifold up a while ago and got it super cheap so that's the only reason I scooped it up, considering it's a 3-400 dollar piece.
I've run into a couple problems. I have an extra vacuum port on the front that doesn't exist on the stock z6 manifold (which I'm guessing is for boosted setups). Can someone clarify on this?
The other problem I have is that the IAT sensor bung on the manifold is threaded. The sensor itself is not threaded. I don't see any other place for the sensor to go, but I'm wondering if it's meant to take a different style. I'm fairly certain it's for the IAT sensor, it's got a screw on either side, it's white, and has a long probe that extends inside the manifold itself. Can someone clarify as to what needs to be done here?
I'll post up pics if necessary when I get back from grabbing a bite to eat.

Here's the old IAT bung
And here's the skunk2 bung
Here's the vacuum setup on the old intake manifold
And the vacuum setup on the skunk2.

Re: D-series Skunk2 Intake Manifold questions
these manifolds are cheap as ****. budget ****, garbage and as for the iat sensor you have to order it from skunk2 or get a aem iat sensor both are threaded, kinda looks like an coolant temp sensor

this one comes with the bung. there is one without it as well
