wiper motor?
I need some help w/my windshield wipers. See i think the motor is in wrong (idk why it would be i bought the car used) because the passenger side of the windshield simply isn't getting wiped off b/c the wiper is too short.
I know i installed them right, i checked it over and over again, tomorrow i'm going to switch them and see if that helps but i think the motor is messed up.
On setting 1 it wipes, stops half way, wipes again, it only works well under 2nd and 3rd settings.
Also, idk what is the problem with this one, but the wipers seem to simply smear the water than actually wipe it off, is that from the windshield or the wipers? (the wipers are fairly new, michilens)
also, the windshield isn't the stock one. changed at some point in time, idk when.

You need a new wiper motor. The return switch within the motor breaks, and causes the issue. Honda has put out a TSB for the 1998 Civic models regarding this.
As for the blades, I'd try Anco Aerovantage blades. Mine work great and I've been using them since I found them.
Here is a thread talking about my wiper issues. I link to the solution, which also links to the TSB.
Note: This TSB is not a recall and Honda will not fix it for you for free.
