Use the plug your owner's manual or the label under the hood specifies. The main advantage to using platinum or iridium is longer service life. The performance gain is negligeable in your application.

I believe the platinum plugs last longer. As far as performance goes, Iridium.

You wont notice a difference buying expensive plugs with a stock motor or even a motor with bolt ons. Just get regular ngk's

Have you heard about the "Silver" Spark plug??? Silver is the best electrical and thermal conductor of any metal, which makes it the ultimate material for a spark plug's center electrode. This is only base on my personal choice, ONLY if you're into racing... and if you're not into racing competitions..consider those pervious posts you read as follows:

What a completely retarded standpoint. If everything but Bosch was garbage, then why would Honda use NGK V-Power? Why would Honda recommend using NGK plugs?

Bosch spark plugs are designed for european vehicles, don't let the guy's at Autozone fool you.

I just replaced mine, could have bought iridiums for something around 10 bucks a plug, but I went with regular stock NGK that were 1.98 per plug, they work just fine, no change in performance good or bad, regular NGK FTW

That's V-Power for you I pay 5.99 + tax for all four, and they're the exact same plugs you'd buy at honda for over $3 per plug

well eran not to be a dick, but i was saying that bosch plugs were garbage and ngk iridiums were good. in fact i use ngk. so before you try and flame me re-read something before dislexia sets in and you think it says something else.
and i wasnt trying to make you look stupid either 1sickdelsol. i was simply stating that you were mostly correct in your statment of "a plug is a plug" unless that plug is anything bosch. read FTW

"unless its bosch, then its just garbage"

That makes you sound like you like only Bosch.

"Unless it's Bosch, those are garbage."

When you make a sentence fragment like:

"unless its bosch, then its just garbage"

It's the same as saying:

"It's just garbage unless it's Bosch."

My mother's an english teacher.

so bosch is like the garbage unless it is something else then it's not like garbage but garbage is everything else so bosch is garbage because everything else is garbage but what about another mans garbage is another mans treasure could bosch be a treasure or can other things be treasure unless its garbage but it could be but maybe not ya knows.
