I found a 92 LX sedan at the yard today with a firewall mounted version... The EPC shows the part but doesn't show a part number. I love little things like this that honda slipped in there.

it would be VERY minimal if there is any.

both of my 92 Dx hatches had the firewall mounted map sensor too, however in 93 I'm pretty sure all models had it on the throttle body

I just thought of another minor difference:

92-93 valvecover doesn't say VTEC, while the 94-95 does.

...and here's a few pics of the previously spoken 92/93 verical striped interior I posted about - these pics came from someone I don't know in Washington - he just bought the car and posted pics up pn H-T:

Note the greenish grey hue that the seat bolster areas have - just as I described them.

Is there a supplemental service manual just for the SI or even a separate one? I'm gonna try to restore an '95 SI shell to factory specs and would like to know where everything goes in it's rightful spot....anyone? Deschlong? TIA

No supplemental. Just get the factory manual. I have one right here for a 1995 Civic - includes all body types. The Si is not so special that it's in its own category... Glad to hear you're doing a full restore -- another one rescued from the dump.

Thanks bro, I just pulled out the ek front end and ek rad support...the guy that had the eg before me didn't take care of it...I just finished welding the eg rad support on and pulled everything out of the interior. It was filthy. I left the dash and everything behind it....all the rusted parts will get an abrasive wheel and paint so no more rust. My black carpet is screwed...all the tabs that hold the plastic garnish to the bottom door jamb seal are broken....don't know what to do about that other than to get a new carpet from majestic, that's if they have it....DeSchlong, I've noticed with the PDF manuals that I have that it doesn't go into the particulars about what types of screws should go where... I can guess but it won't be "factory". Please hook me up with some good links to restore this original frost/taffetta eg!

Stupid front end conversions - yawn. OEM bolt sizes are tough to figure out. P/N descriptions sometimes give a clue or two. There's an OEM bolt guide here on HT: https://honda-tech.com/forums/tech-misc-15/common-honda-bolt-thread-pitch-size-dimension-1885652/ Might be some help.

found one odd difference between mine and my friends Si's. My 93 has the holes in the shock towers so i can run a GSR front strut bar while my friends 95 Si does not have the holes so he is limited to strut bars that use the actual shock bolts.
