vtec wiring
I have a 1992 Honda Civic CX, and am about to get a B16a (long story). I am under the impression that the vtec wires are in the shock tower harness, correct? What about the other wires for the O2 sensor, are they there as well? So, in theory, I should be able to just plug up the harness that is coming with the engine into the shock tower harness, and everything will be fine? Oh yeah it is coming with a harness from a 1992 Civic VX that is already modified for the b16a.
thanks

Correct

Run 4 new wires to the ECU cause you have a one wire o2
yel/blk - A25 - 12V switched
org/blk - A6 - O2 heater control
grn/wht - D22 - sensor ground
wht/red - D14 - O2 signal wire

It matters what ECU you are running, P30, p72, p61 all have a knock sensor that you will have to wire up (one wire to D3). If it is a P28 or chipped ECU that disabled the knock then you do not have to wire anything. And even with the VX harness, you will have to rewire the o2 (VX = 5 wire o2)
Search for the rest, it has been covered a million times.
Correct

Re: vtec wiring (turbogixxer)
nah, I was saying the harness was already modified. See he had a B16a in his VX, wrecked it and now I am buying the swap, with harness.

Re: vtec wiring (EF9_SiR)
for one thing your 92 cx already has the vtec wiring in the shock tower. your old o2 sensor had 1 wire and you are prob. acquiring the 4 wire o2 so you need to wire that in
