Upgrade larger 91 civic ex master cylinder?
My stock master cylinder needs to be replaced on my 93 civic hb cx. I can get a new oem nissin master cylinder from a 91 civic ex for cheaper than my year model car. Any benefits to a larger master cylinder on a stock brake system? I heard I would have to push on the pedal harder, but less travel of pedal? If its cheaper should I go for the larger master cylinder.

Re: Upgrade larger 91 civic ex master cylinder?
If u plan on upgrading your brakes in the future its something i would suggest, and it wont make ur pedal crazy hard, but it is noticeably firmer, and with less pedal travel. I would do it myself, cuz that suits my driving style (lots of heel toe) and my future brake plans. But to each his own, if u plan on keeping ur cx stock just go with the one designed for your car.
